Mergeron Enterprises was owned by Marcel Mergeron. In 1985, Marc Mergeron sold his shares of ME to Victor Newman for a hefty profit and left town. Dina Mergeron inherited the company after Marcel's death. She is its CEO. Later that decade, Mergeron Cosmetics, a division of ME, offered to buy Jabot Cosmetics from John Abbott but he nixed the deal when he learned from whom the offer was coming--his ex-wife's company. This information nearly caused John to have a second heart attack.
