Scimitar Flight was a subsection of the 77th Air Wing's Sword Squadron. During the Battle of Kelrodo-Ai in the Western Reaches Operation of the Reconquest of the Rim, Scimitar Flight was led by Kaal, and co-winged by two other pilots by the time of the initial attempt at infiltrating the shaft leading to the Citadel of Axes' shields' hypermatter reactor. The entire Flight was destroyed by a colony of creatures inhabiting the targeted shaft, resulting in the rest of the surviving members of Sword Squadron retreating.
