Anton and Hugo are two thugs hired by Isabel Kabra to attack Dan and Amy in Book 9, Storm Warning. They become trapped in quicksand, but Lester tells them how to get out. Anton is the one who gets stuck into the quicksand the farthest, while Hugo wasn't in very much. They both aren't very intelligent. Anton gets out of the quicksand first, and Hugo, through lots of yelling and thrashing, finally gets out. Anton and Hugo leave Lester in the quicksand after he helped them. Nothing is known about the lives of Anton and Hugo, other than they were hired thugs by Isabel Kabra. Nothing is known about whether or not they get caught.
