The village is located along the river Devar-Tete Whye, in an inhabited land called the Grand Crescent. To the east, there is the land of Thunderclap. The people of Calla Bryn Sturgis are almost all either farmers or ranchers, the wealthiest of them being Wayne Overholser. They grew rice and wheat, and raised cattle and sheep.
