Makrin Alvar was a Mandalorian mercenary who fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, becoming a commander in the Separatist military. He led the Separatists to victory in a number of battles, but was killed in 19 BBY while fighting with General Grievous' forces on Utapau.
