Operation: CASCADE was the codename of an invasion on Covenant infested UNSC colonies; it would be the last true mission for the United Nations Space Command. It would prove to be a success, though the UNSC totally lacked resources to survive afterward and neared collapse, though a massive sale of government bonds to civilians temporarily kept the UNSC alive until it could carry itself.
