Battle Platforms were military-grade vehicles used by the Second Imperium in 23 ABY that could be used as both landing craft and aerial assault vehicles. It resembled a large, flattened sail barge with rounded corners. A battle platform had two levels with an upper command deck that would open automatically when they reached the atmosphere. During the Third Battle of Yavin, Nightsister Tamith Kai rode one of these into battle.
