(DS9 novel: Trill: Unjoined) He was also one of the "back eight" councillors on the Federation Security Council. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation) M'Relle is not identified by name in Articles of the Federation; however, the fact that the councillor from Cait sits on the Security Council in 2380 establishes that this was the same individual who had served for years prior.
