Langstrom Fischler is a character from Skyhook, Impact and Weather or Not, who proudly works for Fischler Industries. He was involved with the construction of CIR.R.U.S., and he occupied it with two other people whom he hired. After CIR.R.U.S. was destroyed, Langstrom brought a comet into Earth's atmosphere, with the intention of using the frozen water inside to rehydrate drought-torn countries. However, the rocket controlling the comet failed, and instead of orbiting the planet it engaged a collision course with the Earth and a satellite.
