Jovy knows Reks because at one time, Jovy was framed for stealing and Reks helped prove Jovy's innocence. He was first seen stumbling all over Nalbina's West Ward and then collapsing on the floor while crying because his "hero" was dead and because he was a new recruit who was constantly being bullied. After completing all the hunts at Nalbina, the player gets a scene with Jovy and some items.
