CnCNet is a community-run multiplayer service which allows people to play Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert 1, Dune 2000, Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2 and their respective expansions online. CnCNet 5 uses an external client in order to chat, host and join games entirely bypassing the game menus. CnCNet 5 currently supports Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert 1, Dune 2000, Tiberian Sun and Yuri's Revenge, while Red Alert 2 is played through a "Red Alert 2 Mode" modifier within the Yuri's Revenge client. CnCNet 4.0 was discontinued on 25 May 2016, along with a CnCNet-hosted Renegade master server list.
