Darth Mortis was the apprentice of Darth Ruinus during the Great Sovereign Crusades. He killed his master only two weeks after he took the throne and then proclaimed himself to be the Dark Lord of the Sith. During his nearly year-long rule, he took on Carden Mannux as his apprentice and dubbed him Darth Lettow and also discovered information on what was known as the Blood God. However, he inadvertently left the files for Lettow to see and was killed by him the next day. However, he realized that Lettow was the one who was meant to bring about the era of the Blood God and accepted his fate.
