In the mirror universe, Gul Taqut was a Cardassian officer in the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. In 2371, Taqut took his son Andrul to the planet Betazed in order to patronize the Sacred Chalice, a brothel run by Lwaxana Troi. Troi considered Taqut to be a minor official in the Alliance.
