The English Soldier, an Immortal, was referred to in the novel Highlander: Scotland the Brave. Very little information is actually known about this individual. He was beheaded in 1632 by Duncan MacLeod while he was traveling in the Scottish Highlands. The English Immortal was one of the first heads taken by MacLeod, and occurred just prior to his first encounter with Martin Hyde the following year.
