The AR725 has all the basic features of an Artist model including a set-in maple neck with a smooth heel and a bridge with tailpiece. Additionally it features a mahogany body with bound maple top along with a maple neck with a 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard featuring custom scroll inlays and a bone nut. Components include a fixed bridge and dual Ibanez humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls and a black scroll pickguard. The AR720 is a somewhat similar model with an ash body and without the decorative embellishment on the top, fancy inlays and pickguard.
