Ulfrik Northman is ancient Viking chieftain, or local ruler, on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by Swedish actor Hans Tester, Ulfrik was a Viking who lived in the Scandinavian province of Sweden during the 9th century. The father of Eric Northman, who would become a vampire in later life, Ulfrik appears only in a flashback on the episode "Trouble" in the series' third season. __TOC__
