Yamankata (大威徳明王, The Demon of the Forest) Yamankata is a creature of legend, a tale told to the men and women of the Great Shinobi Countries to keep their children indoors at night, and from loved ones venturing foolishly into the dark nights, traversing into territories outside of the villages. Many believe in the great demon, fearing him for his hold over the lands untamed, and for his ruthlessness with those that dare come into his home. Many names and many titles have been given to him since his rise, legend to predate the first era of ninja. An angry, wrathful, and prideful creature - breaking down all those that challenge his rite to his domain. His existence was put into question as the eras continued on, banished from the earthly plane by a sect of peaceful Ninshu monks.
