The S5527QFX features a mahogany body with a quilted maple top and a maple and wenge Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with off-set dot inlays. Other features include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups, a fixed bridge and locking tuners. The S5521Q is a similar six-string model. The S5527 is similar, but lacks the exotic quilted maple top. A similar eight-string model with a limba wood top is the S5528LW.
