The chronicle was the title for a Boraalan historian. This individual recorded the history of a village in a chronicle. Skills required for a chronicle included literacy and a knack at drawing. Vorin was the chronicle for his community until his death in 2370. He believed the chronicle was the "life of the village" and that if the people did not know their past, their future meant nothing.
