Silent Hill 3 Original Soundtracks was released in Japan on July 7, 2003, by Konami Music Entertainment, Inc. The soundtrack contains music from Silent Hill 3, composed by Akira Yamaoka. The album also featured Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, as Melissa Williamson, and Joe Romersa, both debuting to the Silent Hill series with Romersa writing lyrics to all songs on the album that feature vocals as well as performing the vocals for "Hometown" and McGlynn performing the vocals for "Sun", "Lost Carol", "I Want Love (Studio Mix)", "Letter - From the Lost Days", and "You're Not Here".
