The Battle of Reecee was a battle of 27 ABY, during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Part of Tsavong Lah's Battle Plan Coruscant, the Yuuzhan Vong force took Reecee to use as a staging area for the attack on Coruscant, enabling them to bypass the Bilbringi Shipyards. The Yuuzhan Vong used a type of dovin basal to prevent communications from the besieged forces, making sure the New Republic was unaware of the world's fall. A small number of starfighters were able to escape onboard the Errant Venture, which had been hiding the Jedi Praxeum students near Reecee, to Eclipse Station.
