Jonathan Hogan (born June 13, 1951) guest stars on Quantum Leap in the part of Gus Vernon, manager of the local bank in Elk Ridge, Indiana, Dr. Beckett's hometown, who's granting bad mortgage loans to farming familes with the intent of collecting cash kickbacks from an out-of-state developer, after forclosing on them in the bank's deal with the land developer who plans to build a shopping mall on their forclosed upon land in the Season Five episode "Promised Land" (episode #11).
