Trent Kane was an Imperial naval officer who had attended the naval academy with Anton Marcos. In 8 BBY, Kane had attained the position of Executive Officer on the Imperial Star Destroyer Typhoon. He and the captain disagreed publicly many times. In 6 BBY, Kane led a mutiny on Typhoon and succeeded in killing the captain. The mutiny was later put down by Lieutenant Anton Marcos, and Kane was arrested. Kane is presumed to have been killed when Typhoon's self destruct was activated by Marcos.
