Tariq Abassi was one of Osama Bin Laden's son-in-laws who was also the victim of an assassination attempt by Nassir Al-Jazair but thanks to the effects of the NCIS Major Case Response Team along with NCIS Special Agent Paula Cassidy, the assassination attempt was ultimately foiled with Tariq surviving.
