Akodo Satoru was a samurai Lion who became ronin. He was a thin, dirty, rather ill-mannered man. Bitter and glum, speaking seldom and drinking often, he held a deep grudge against his former clan. Satoru moved to Boubi, a ronin village in Naishou province and became part of a ronin group led by Maeda, who commanded other four ronin, Takuhito, Oyami, Tsuruaka and Izumi, who protected the village from the wave of murders and disappearances in the province. He and Takuhito frequently get into quarrels about his attitude. A group of samurai visitors investigated the crimes and exposed a Bloodspeaker cell as the guilty of all the violent events.
