Phillip Gordon is a history teacher in the Danbury Public School system. He is a fierce loyalist to the Annan Family. He was disappointed in the Rupert Garfield-led Commune decision to fund three universities in the eastern portion of J Andres and none in the west. Gordon became active in local politics after this and was elected as the first governor of Danbury in 2055. Gordon ran unsuccessfully for president in the 2056 elections against incumbent president Evan McDowell. Gordon ran for greater representation of the west in national politics, but lost the race by a 2% margin.
