The Dancing Grandmas were two energetic, move-busting, rug-cutting elderly ladies who appeared in episode 204 of Muppets Tonight. Clifford reluctantly agreed to let them on stage when Pierce Brosnan didn't show up, as the alternative was Seymour and Pepe's dire take on German opera. However, he found himself enjoying them, and put them on again after Pierce Brosnan's disastrous turn in the Spy In The Casino Sketch. Clifford and Rizzo are seen in the control room chanting "Go Grannies!". Even the evil Rock Lobsters can't resist them. The Grannies are seen dancing to "La Bamba", "Le Freak" and "Get On Up".
