The Adara system is a star system in the Milky Way where the Asgard Heimdall used the second planet to conduct research on his Asgard ancestor. The Adara system was chosen for this task as it was a gaseous planet which disguised the lab from the Goa'uld and was located way out of the path of the Replicators. (SG1: "Revelations")
