Elizabeth Morgenstern was an Earthforce Captain and the commanding officer of the EAS Pollux, an Omega class destroyer, during the Earth Alliance Civil War. She was a hardline loyalist to President Morgan Clark and participated in the 2261 blockade of Proxima III. She was responsible for the destruction of five commercial transports carrying injured people from areas hit by Clark-loyalist forces. The deaths of 10,000 civilians due to Morgernstern's actions led John Sheridan to decide it was time to attack Clark's forces and liberate Earth.
