Voodoo Economists are a group of civil servants who advise the President of Earth on important fiscal matters using a combination of empirical study of the economy and black magic (or so their name implies). In 3004, Earth struck an unexpected fortune when it's forces, under the command of Zapp Brannigan, defeated Tarantulon 6. The Voodoo Economists told President Nixon that the best way to use the money would be to give each citizen of Earth a 300 dollar tax rebate, so that they would spend it and revitalize the economy.
