The Punishment-class Eloquian Destroyer was a capital ship used by the Eloquian Alliance, New Republic, and Galactic Alliance. It was not as long as an Executor-class Star Dreadnought, nor did it have the firepower, but it was the pride of the Eloquian Navy. Ten of these were made, and eight were sent to the New Republic to assist them in fighting off the Yuuzhan Vong. Although these battleships were barely used by the Eloquian Alliance, the New Republic used them in many battles. The New Republic used six of the eight Punishment-class Eloquian Destroyers in the Second Battle of Coruscant.
