The Tracked Shield Disabler (TR-SD) was a huge single-purpose Imperial vehicle, built to weaken and/or disable protective shields around Rebel bases. This would allow other units, more vulnerable to the effects of shields, to pass through, as well as giving various forms of artillery a chance to wreak havoc on the enemy forces/buildings. The TR-SD carried a pair of missile launchers and two ion cannons.
