The Axl Elite is a yo-yo first released in the late 1990s by Custom Products. It is a variation of the Axl, featuring a slimline Butterfly shape for string tricks, along with a take-apart design, Performance Ring response pads and a ball bearing axle for long spinning. It originally featured a tiny G-sized bearing, but starting from 2008, all Custom Products yo-yos especially the Axl Elite, come stock with a larger A-bearing. Also released was a gold-plated version, the GoldenFly.
