A Bodner line was something found on the USS Enterprise and the skiff Dr. James Barry. These lines were the replacements for the Wascoli lines. These lines are named for Martha R. Bodner but were invented by Tail-Kinker to-Ennien and Chris Megson. Tail-Kinker to-Ennien asked Montgomery Scott to fix a flux problem in her Bodner lines. (TOS novel: Uhura's Song)
