Mines are obstacles from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Usually found in aquatic areas such as Great Bay Temple, these highly volatile objects are suspended from ceilings by chains of varying length. Typically, Mines are situated in front of locations or objects of interest to Link, usually forcing him to dispatch them to move ahead. They will explode upon direct contact with Link. The various weapons in Link's arsenal have no effect on mines aside from causing them to be knocked about. This can be used to destroy them if they come into contact with a wall, or another Mine.
