It was originally announced that an adaptation of The Seven Dials Mystery would be filmed, but it was shelved in favour of Greenshaw's Folly. The adaptation of Greenshaw's Folly will be based on both Greenshaw's Folly and The Thumb Mark of St. Peter.Julia McKenzie was contracted to play Miss Marple for three series, so it is expected that this set of films will be the last.
