Lynette Peattie was the daughter of Orell Peattie. In 1999, she was involved in a terrible bus accident and sustained mortal injuries. She was attended to by Dr. Robert Wieder, who administered a lethal dose of morphine to mercifully end her life. However, her father was enraged and set about seeking revenge against Wieder by targeting his family with Appalachian hexcraft. Peattie used his daughter's corpse, which had been interred in a cemetery as a Jane Doe, as a charm. (TXF: "Theef")
