Born 3rd January, Contance Amelia Pepper is the middle child of three children. She grew up with two brothers and her parents in London. She attended Hogwarts for her magical education and was educated in manners by her Aunt who was the headmaster of Crown Hill School and Auditorium at the time. All three of the Pepper children were sorted into , her brothers moving to jobs within the Ministry and her aunt offering Constance a job at Crown Hill. When nothing else was offered, she took the job offer and moved to the boarding school as a tutor for the boarding school before eventually taking a teaching position within the main school.
