The 2010 NCAA Division I Football Season, or college football season, will progress through the fall of 2010 and the bowl season, until it concludes in the National Championship Game in New Orleans on January 10th, 2011. The Sugar Bowl will host the title game this year, as decided by a vote of NCAA Presidents at the 2008 President's Conference in Winnipeg. The 2009 champions, the University of Virginia Cavaliers, will defend their title.
