HMS Stevedore was a yard tug of the Royal Manticoran Navy, assigned to the space station HMSS Hephaestus. In February 1922 PD, the ship's executive officer, Lieutenant Édouard Boisvin, and helmsman, Senior Chief Petty Officer Oxana Karpova, were on bridge duty when the space station was attacked and destroyed by the Mesan Alignment Navy in Operation Oyster Bay. The ship itself survived the destruction, but its XO was haunted by nightmares of the events for years. (HH12)
