Alan is desperate for Steph to get out of the clinic and he says he will help her to pass her assessment. However, Steph has become institutionalized and isn’t sure she wants to leave. Alan eventually convinces her that she must fight and she gets out by saying she made the whole thing up and only said Adam killed Terence to get his attention. Meanwhile, Jamie asks Katie to do a few night shifts at the café. She agrees, but Andy looks decidedly uncomfortable with his wife’s decision.
