Therench Orym was a male Sev'laya officer of the Golden Empire. He served his entire professional career in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Integration. In his youth he served in many front-line assignments with newly admitted member worlds, including a six-year assignment to the Royal Integration Corps. Working up through the ranks, he became a manager for the RIC's efforts in the former Chiss Ascendacy following its conquest by the Empire. Orym was an accomplished polyglot who spoke over half a dozen languages, including Orhyo, Basic, Cheunh, Minnisiat, and Iscali.
