Turmo was a lean male Ryn. He was the Peace Brigade's primary contact and recruiter in Muracie. He met the Gruesome Gackles there and led them to Hope Citadel via an underground speeder tunnel that had a hidden entrance in the basement of a tower on the shores of Rubyflame Lake. The Gruesome Gackles discovered Turmo to be a decent being and something of an idealist. He believed the Peace Brigade was the galaxy's only hope for peace. That Kresiik eventually convince Turmo to defect to the New Republic, and Turmo returned with That and some of his fellow Gackles to their shuttle, the Ynos. Turmo piloted the Ynos to the Frindj Mountains to pick up the remaining Gackles (Saradan, Brutuz, and Uutyyn) and then into space to reunite with the flagship Glitterclaw.
