Keprish was a notorious Scarab criminal and the main villain of The T. Rex Invasion. A member of the ancient Scarab species, Keprish was extremely ruthless and violent, personally responsible for the destruction of numerous inhabited planets and the extinction of twenty-one alien races, also engaging in comparatively petty crimes like peeing in the Scarab Queen's bathtub. When the other Scarabs ended the rogue's reign of terror, they treated him especially viciously, trapping him in a time-sealed pyramid on Sphinx II with his (presumably stolen) treasure, his broken spacecraft, and a large emerald, his brain-stone.They set a series of tests to lure and then kill people who came to free the criminal, torturing Keprish as he watched potential saviours die.
