Mary Booai was a female high school student attending Crest View High School in the fall of 1999, one of her classes included chemistry with Mr. Ferguson. She was present when Cromartie announced that Mr. Ferguson was ill, and asked if "Cromartie" was his only name "like Madonna." Moments after she confirmed she was present for class, Cromatire opened fire in an attempt to kill John Connor, and was one of the few students to react before he began firing.
