The story takes place on Coruscant where Senator Yarua, along with his wife and several members were been escorted outside the Imperial Judiciary Central Detention Center where they encountered Darth Vader. He ignites his lightsaber and kills Yarua and all the Wookiees. Meanwhile on the Kashyyyk, where Wookiees, from the the city of Kachirho, are held as prisoners and slaves under the rule of General Sam Tremel. Standing next to King Grakchawwaa, Tremel was contacted by Vader and under his command, he executed the King.
