Archeloga is a boss character in the console versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare. Created by Agent Bishop, this behemoth is primarily made up of turtle DNA. Due to its gorilla-like gait and Donatello's mention of it appearing to have been spliced with "primate mammal" genes prior to battling it, it can be assumed that Archeloga is also part simian. The turtle DNA is not specified to belong to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but according to its appearance and name, it may have the DNA of an Archelon, a prehistoric turtle that lived approximately seventy million years ago. Archeloga is much larger than the TMNT, has spikes growing from its shell, a long, twin-pincered tail, and gorilla-like arms, which are inexplicably covered in red flesh.
