Microsoft Office 2001 was a version of Microsoft Office for Mac OS 8, Mac OS 9, and the Classic environment in Mac OS X. It was released in August 2000, and included Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Entourage. It was succeeded by Microsoft Office v. X, and was the successor to Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition.
