Tony tells Christopher that when he was a newly made man, for years he had to buy dinners at Benihana and Peter Luger Steak House for Richie Aprile and Anastasia, who racked up huge tabs which included steak, brandy, cigars, and champagne. This reveals that Anastasia was a high ranking soldier or capo in the DiMeo crime family.
