ICE Chat (or ICE) was an early incarnation of the real-time chatting side of the Creatures Community. Its primary drawback was that it operated on a very high-traffic chat server; random outsiders who had no idea what the chat was about often joined the chat room and caused trouble. As a result of the prevalence of trolls in ICE, someone once described it as "...the only place where the average IQ is lower than the temperature." Many of the regulars in ICE became ops in JRChat.
